They tried to make me go to Rehab but I said No, No,No

Hello Folks!! How are you all doing today? I am doing fantastic except for the fact that I am at work but so goes life. It is quite overcast and rainy here today which I guess is nice. Sure beats the hell out of the 110 degree days we were experiencing last week. I feel like southern CA is very bi-polar.

My weekend was AMAZING!! Words can't even describe the pure awesomeness that was my weekend. But I will atempt to recap it here for you so that you can be jealous of it. Haha just kidding (kind of).

Also I urge you to go over and participate in Mingle Monday at Life Of Meg.

: Scaredy Cat

After work I got dropped off at my friend Kelsey's house and I watched some Glee while I waited for her to get ready... OMG I love Glee now... I have never seen it before this weekend, I watched the first disc of the first season and now I have to either buy it or find someone to let me borrow it.  Then we left for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. It took us forever to get there, damn LA traffic!

OMG it was soo much fun. I was so afraid of going because I am deathly afraid of Chainsaws (just the sound is enough to make me scream). When we first walked in it was like Chainsaw Alley and there were at least 10 guys with Chainsaws (WTF). Needless to say I was screaming right from the start. We went through a couple of mazes that were really well done. The 3d maze was the scariest because you couldn't even tell what was real and my "date" for the evening (my 'little sis' Sabrina) left me behind and the monsters kept picking on me. I also made a wrong turn and this monster and me were just screaming lol. It was hilarious.

A picture with 2 of the girls I went with... My "line". Me, my big(on the right), my little (on the left).

The show (Bill & Ted parody thingy) was one of my favorite moments of the whole night because they did a fantastic job poking fun at current events (ie jersey shore, justin bieber, and Glee). It was really funny and very well done. All in all it was a great  evening. It did take us FOREVER to get back to our car (1 hour) so we didn't get home until 4 am.

Saturday: Girl's Weekend

We got a much later start then I wanted to on Saturday but such is life. Its hard for me to realize that I can't put everything on a schedule.  Before we left for SD we went to the Block (a nice shopping center in OC) to go get some stuff from H&M. I got 3 work shirts that I am kinda excited about. Especially since they were on sale. Oh and we ate at Johnny Rockets. I love their Burgers and Chocolate Malts but even more so I love that they do little smiley faces with their Ketchup
Haha I look like a 10 year old.

When we finally got down to SD (at 5) we checked into our hotel. We stayed at the W which was super nice however, I don';t think I would stay there again (well not the SD one). That is only because the pool is as big as a box and it is a bit too far from downtown. The rooms are gorgeous and the service was exceptional. Its also a big party hotel so I guess you really don't even have to leave. After we put our stuff in our room we went up to the rooftop bar/beach area and that was really nice. We had a Porn Star (a yummy drink) and some flat bread. We just hung up there and met some people. Our bartender, Patrick, was also very friendly. Like I said the service there was exceptional.

This drink was mighty tasty. Porn Star right there.

Our beautiful room. My favorite part was the window seat/bed.

Me enjoying the window seat. Do you ever pose "candidly" for shots? I feel bad when I do lol.

That night we went out to dinner with one of our sisters and it was okay. But I just wanted to get back to the gaslamp and party. I just wanted to dance ok!! So that night we went to 2 bars. We were at the second one, Whiskey Girl, most of the night. This bar was kickass. Good drinks, lots of people. and ltos of dancing without the "club feel". The night was just full of a lot of dancing and drinking. A perfect night if I do say so myself. I stumbled back the 8 blocks to the W and ended up falling asleep at 4 am.

Aww arent we cute? Note to self: Don't do the "sultry"  ever again
I was obviously having a ton of fun. JK... I was not that "Special"... That was just my dancing and goofing off face.

This was right before I spilled my drink LOL. Thats one of the British guys that we were hanging out with... Not like that though girls, I am a taken women. Well my gf wasn't so it was for her.

Sunday: Im so Tired!
So I woke up at 8:30 am on Sunday and I finished my book, The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks. It was actually really good and not that mushy. We checkedc out then walked around for a while at the Horton Plaza and ate at Panera Bread. I got home at 3:30 and was SOOO tired but Kevin wanted to go out to dinner. We went to The Fish Company and it tasted really good. I had Clam Chowder, Mesquite Grilled Atlantic Salmon, rice pilaf and fruit.

I passed out at 8:30 pm. I told you I was super duper tired!! How was your weekend?

Day 18: Plans, Dreams, Goals you Have

Job: I want to either be a CFO or some other position in the finance/tax field. I would prefer working at a sports company. My ultimate dream job would be CFO for the SD Chargers

Short Term Goals: Be more organized, prioritize, get better with my budget, clean and cook more often, and pick up a new hobby.

Long Term Goals: Make a lot of money, go back to school, become a CPA and possibly obtain my MBA, get married and have a family, travel.

Plans within next year or so: Get a new car, move, get a new job.

Plans within next 10 years: Travel a lot, move up in my career, get married (hopefully), maybe have a kid or two (I go back and forth on this), learn a bunch of new skills.

The Story of Why I am a bad Camera Owner (Weekend Recap)

Hello Folks! I am back to tell you about my weekend but before I do let me tell you something. I am a bad camera owner. Not because I broke my camera or anything but because I hardly use it.  I havent had a camera for so long that I don't think to take it out of my purse and actually use it. How am I suppose to be a good blogger if I don't have pictures that document everything that I do. I am going to add that to my growing list of things that I need to improve. Onto my weekend recap.

Oh before I begin I am participating in Mingle Monday over at Life of Meg and you all should check it out. It is a great way to discover new blogs and gain new followers. I know I have a couple of folks on here that found me through there.

Friday: Hookah Time with the Girls

So as some of my followers have discovered, I am a bit of a Hookah addict. I have gotten better and have cut down  my hookah trips to usually just once a week. But it is oh so good and a lot of fun!

Anyway, on Friday I met up with L&C over at hookah and we had a pretty good time. L brought a date so me and C were each others' dates for the night. It was nice to catch up with C again because I hadn't seen her in a while. I also got some yummy grub from this mediterreanean grill next door. I am even more so addicted to hummus and pita (chips and bread). All in all it was a great evening and I came home to a clean house. I have the best boyfriend (well sometimes)

Saturday: Couples Retreat

No we did not go to some island and partake in weird couples therapy. During the day Kevin and I lounged around the house. We had some college football games on in the background but mostly I was being lazy and reading all day long.

Add caption
I am currently reading The Pact  by Jodi Picoult. I am really liking it. Book Summary: It is a book about these 2 teens that grew up together and then ended up being in a relationship. One night their parents were called to the hospital where they were told that the girl, Emily, died from a gun wound and her boyfriend, Chris, had several stiches. It was a botched suicide pact. The book goes back and forth between past and present and does a great job of capuring the grieving process along with Chris struggles because he is being tried for murder. When they are flipping back and forth between the different time periods it flows really nicely and fits in with the story line.I recommend it.

That evening we went out with D-Lo and Chris and James and Annel for some couples fun time. We went bowling where I was a little bit crazy and pissed off because I wasn't bowling well competitive and bummed super angry that I got the lowest score because  I am a sore sport not use to losing at bowling. All in all it was fun. We then went out to Mimi's after and had a good and healthy dinner. I had French Onion Soup and Salmon with spinach, asparagus, and fruit. Finally Kev and I went over to chris and d-lo's to watch The Goods  which ended up being a stupidly good movies. You know those movies that you feel bad for liking? But come on its Ari Gold!!

So we have no pictures whatsoever with D-lo and Chris so maybe it might have been a great idea to actually take some this evening. ESPECIALLY since I had the camera on me the whole time. Seriously...what is the point of the flipping thing if I am not going to use it?

Sunday: Duh Football!!

All day Sunday I watched Football and read and ate. No joke. That is what I was doing from 10 am- 9 pm. We had some yummy, healthy football treats too. Fruit & veggie platters, pita chips and hummus, triscuts and low fat dip... Yummyness!!

So I am getting my butt kicked in all of my fantasy football leagues. Like I am for serious!! It really does suck but my teams are just mediocre. Gosh darn it! I don't have beginners luck and I haven't been playing fantasy football long enough to be good at it. I guess I at least have good excuses but it doesn't make me feel any better. I was very happy with the results of most of the games yesterday. There were some good ones. I will wrap all my thoughts up in my sports thursday posts which are going to turn into 100% football recaps and predictions. I know you are all excited!!

I had a fun and relaxing weekend and I hope you all did too

Don't forget to come back tomorrow for Tuesday's Feature. Confused what that is or want to know the theme? Click on the tab at the top that says Tuesday's Feature.

Toodles!!

A Whole Lotta Nothing...Oh and I go off on Tangents A lot

Happy Monday! I swear I hate Mondays...Well not as much as I hate Tuesdays. By Wednesdays I have finally come at terms with the week, I know thats pretty sad eh? I do like Monday evenings, however, becaue that usually means cheap night at Hookah or Weeds. I am so excited Weeds is back...I love that show and so far this season is looking fantastic. Oh and Dexter is on soon as well. WOOT WOOT. These are just a few of the reasons why fall is becoming my favorite season (of course Football trumps it all).

This weekend was an "eh, ok" one. I really didn't do much. Thats okay though because earlier this month and last month I was jamming my weekends so full that we didn't have time to breath. So it is nice to curl up on the couch and read a book. I am happy to report that I finally caught onto The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trend. Before I couldn't get through the first chapter but now I am addicted, it is soo good. A lot of my weekend was spent reading that.

Friday: I did go to the bonfire. It was ok. It was nice seeing my friends I hadn't seen in forever. I have decided that I hate bonfires though because they hurt my eyes. I am not being a baby either. I literally had to sit under a blanket because my eyes were watering and burning so much. I know they got pictures of me under the blanket so as soon as those are posted I will share (I think I have mentioned this before but I am a horrible person because I don't own a camera... I know what type of blogger/person doesn't have a camera?).I did have a yummy s'more which my little made for me.

At the bonfire I realized how high maintenance I am. I blame it on my boyfriend. I didn't want to make a hot dog so my old roomie made it for me and then my little made me a s'more. Gosh how lazy am i? Is it sad that I just want to go out to a restaurant because I like to be waited on? One of my other "sisters" (I was in a sorority in college) was poking fun at me with my healthy foodkick and she said "mayo is the bond that seals us together" LOL see this is the shit I have to hear. I thought it was pretty funny nonetheless.

My little and I then went to hookah later and that was fun. The real fun was on the way home because we got distracted. We were talking so much that we lost track of time and where we were at. We actually ended up in Compton...Luckily it was the nice part of Compton (yes amazingly there is a nice area) and we were able to just get right back on the freeway. Thats why you shouldn't talk and drive.

Saturday & Sunday: Both these days pretty much consisted of me lounging around the house all day reading and watching TV. Well on Saturday we did end up going to my best friend's surprise bday party even though I didn't want to go. (Im not a horrible friend I swear i just got told about it way late and I live very far away). It ended up being just as lame as I thought it would and we left pretty early. Well early considering the party didn't even start till 11:30. It just wasn't fun and I don't like the majority of people that were there. Their idea of fun is sitting in the grass and talking the whole night while ignoring those people that arent around that much. Im not around a lot because I booked it out of my hometown as soon as I was able to. Just take my word for it that it was SUPER boring.

Poor Kevin had to go into work yesterday to finish up a really important grant. I stayed home all day. I took PeeWee for a walk and that was the extent of my excitement for the day. I still had a good day of reading and letting the pets run wild in the house.

I'm hoping for a very fun and exciting time next weekend. I am trying to drag Kevin to a waterpark.

Weekly Goals:
-Start working out
-Cook at least 3 yummy meals
-Do my laundry
-Work harder on cleaning
-Try to get my motivation back at work.

Oh and a little welcome to those who stopped by from Monday Mingle :).

How was your weekend?

In other news, I am starting a healthy eating regime. I have decided not to call it a diet anymore because when I do people go all sorts of crazy on me. They say "Why are you on a diet", "You are skinny", and "You shoudln't do that". I'm not on a weightloss diet (but if I happen to lose 3-5 pounds I will not complain). My boyfriend and I decided to go on this healthy diet for 6 weeks because we were tired of eating crappy food. Even when I explain that to some of my friends I am still getting push back on it. Why are they angry at me for eating healthier? They said I need to cut myself some slack and "live life". Thats what I am trying to do people! I am trying to eat better so I can live a longer and healthier life.I'm not kidding. One of my friends said I was being ridiculous for giving up alcohol... Its only for 6 weeks and there are so many empty calories in alcohol. Someone else was mocking me and trying to tempt me to eat chocolate cake this weekend.

I worry about what America has come to when I am  challenged because I made a choice to eat healthier. Its not like I am looking down on my friends if they decide to go to McDonalds. I don't wave a carrot in front of their face telling them how much better it is for them. Or scoff when they order a Margarita. Just last week I ate out at fast food places and drank several fruity drinks, Im just challenging myself to change my lifestyle. Mostly to see if I can. Have you guys gone on a healthy food kick before? Did you have similar reactions?

Anyway, enough complaining...I just started this "diet" on Saturday. Basically, I eat small meals every 3 hours. I am actually semi-liking it. I mean I am sad that I have given up Starbucks and most alcohol for 6 weeks (I can still drink Moscato) but I feel so much better after I eat. I start the exercising today so hopefully I do well on that. Wish me luck. I will probably keep you guys updated 1-2 times a week on my progress and any challenges I have.

The typical day is:
Breakfast: Bowl of Mini Wheats with non-fat or soy milk
Snack: Wheat thins and a Banana
Lunch: Sandwich or Tuna, salad, and fruit.
Snack: Baby Carrots or Celery w/ peanut butter
Dinner: Chicken breast or lean meat with 2 cups veggies.
Dessert: Low-fat vanilla ice cream or non-fat frozen yogurt with berries. (Best dessert ever!!)
This is before I mush it all together

This is after I mix it all together and smash up the berries. Trust me it taste 100x better than it looks

Brief Weekend Recap:

Friday: We went to my friends' (Chris and D-lo) house. We ate dinner and watched Beetlejuice. I ended up passing out on their sofa pretty early as I was EXHAUSTED! I felt horrible though because I wanted to hang out with them.
Saturday: I did absolutly nothing!! Kevin was sick all weekend so this day was just a lazy day. I got invited to go out but I didn't want to leave him home alone with how sick he was.
Sunday: I went to a brunch (yummy) and then to the dog beach. I cooked dinner when I came home (lemon chicken and asparagus), I felt so domesticated.

Hope you all had a great weekend. If you are stopping by from Mingle Monday, welcome!!

That's it! I am buying a private jet soon, any suggestions? Vegas recap and Mingle Monday!

So is 12 hours of driving worth Vegas? Yes!! But I really wish we didn't have to waste 12 hours in one weekend just to drive to and from there. Damn you traffic! I really want to buy a private jet. I wonder how much one of those is running nowadays. Do you think I will have enough money if I start saving for it? I need to be rich.

With all that being said... I had a fantastic time in Vegas and I am looking forward to my trip next weekend. Yep, you read that right I am going to Vegas next weekend as well...This time for a blackjack tournament (I got a free entry and a free hotel room so hell ya!)

Friday:

So I left work at around 3:30 and hit the road. We didn't end up getting to Kevin's brother's house until 10 pm.  I wish that Keith and Autumn lived closer (like in southern CA) because they are a lot of fun to hang out with. They have two adorable kids as well who have grown so much since the last time we saw them. Children grow so quickly.

Kevin and his niece. He says he doesn't want kids but he is so good with them :)
On Friday we hung out with all of them at their place and also stayed there that night. We played rock band and Autumn and I chatted while the boys geeked out over music and star wars. It was a lot of fun and relaxing.

Saturday:

Ended up sleeping in pretty late. Saturday afternoon was full of lazy lounging around and playing with the kids. I played with their 5 (almost 6) year old son. We played Little Big Planet. I suck at video games. I really do. So much so that he kept telling me I was killing him and that I was horrible at the games. He kicked my butt big time on all the games I played with him. I think we all finally got ready and dressed at around 4 or 5. We then dropped the kids off at their babysitters for the night.

It was Autumn and Keith's anniversary. AWWW so we went and celebrated that with them down on the strip. We got them a room at the Riveria and we stayed at Planet Hollywood. We wouold have stayed at the same hotel or at hotels on the same side of the strip but I messed up with the reservations and by the time I booked ours Planet Hollywood was the only hotel with decently priced vacancies. Our room was gorgeous because we got upgraded to a VIP room since we checked in late and were giving a smoking room (which luckily didnt smell like smoke). The room was GORGEOUS! It had a huge tub and a comfortable huge bed. It was the Indiana Jones themed room and it had a bunch of actual props/costumes from the movies. Pretty kick ass for $90 if I do say so myself.

This is pretty much what our room looked like except without the chairs.
So we finally hit the strip around 9ish I think (I am horrible about remembering to look at the time). We all went to Pink's to eat. Yummy!! I love their hot dogs. We then walked down to Paris so that Kev and I could get our Eifel tower drink. I love those but I think Im over them now. I get one everytime I go and it does a great job of getting me buzzed but I think I am over how sweet it is. We then just walk the strip for a while. We went to Fat Tuesdays at MGM so that we could get our $1 jello shots (we only got 1, I wished we got more)... The night consisted of walking the strip and people watching. It was a lot of fun. We then went up to the room around 1:30 or 2. Kev passed out at 2:50 and Keith and Autumn stayed around till 3:30. I was wired but finally passed out around 5 am (damn 5 hour energy).
Real men drink fruity eifel tower drinks ;)

Yummy! No I wasn't really drinking both the drinks. Im not that hardcore
All in all Saturday was the VEGAS night. Everything that Vegas should be about and I had a lot of fun. Im still waiting on a couple of pictures from the night. Shall share those soon enough

Sunday

I ended up waking up pretty early for some reason and just laid in bed watching American Wedding. I finally woke Kevin up around 10 am (checkout was at 11). I took a bath in the AWESOME tub because I just had to. You can't let a tub like that go to waste. We then checked out of our hotel and went down to the Riveria to check Keith and Autumn out.

I am really pissed at the Sahara because they wiped my comp dollars clean and I should have had $150 left and I had $.02. We went over there to eat at the NASCAR Cafe and we al shared a sampler. It was SOOO much food that even all 4 of us couldnt finish it. I also got a souvenir cup with strawberry margarita in it. YUMMY!  We hit the road at 2 pm and didnt get home until 8:30 pm.

Spinach dip sourdough bread bowl, poppers, wings, chicken fingers, sausages, onion rings, mozarella sticks all served on top of a bed of curly fries.

It was a very fun trip but Im still wiped out from it. I am excited for next weekend because there shall be gaming and more drinking. :) I hope your weekends all were great.

By the way don't forget about my GIVEAWAY!! You have until Friday at 12 pm PDT to enter. Go to Friday's blog entry to enter.

There will also be a Tuesday's feature and if you want to link up I will post the linky tomorrow morning. The topic will be Best Weekend Getaway... I hope you all come back to link up tomorrow.

Until then, toodles :)

I got my Country Music Hating Boyfriend to wear a cowboy hat and come to Country Western Night! I'm that good ;)

Hello All!! I hope you had a fantastic weekend. For me this weekend was ridiculous and fun-filled. Pretty crazy actually all around. Today I am participating in Mingle Monday over at Life of Meg. You should check it out, great way to find new followers and new blogs to follow.

Friday Night:

So after work Kev and I met up with one of our couple friends at Dave & Buster. It was a lot of fun even though we ended up not playing any games. For some reason Kev was super tired so we just ate and drank some and then went home. I love the drinks at D&B because they make them very strong so you get a lot of bang for your buck. I had the Purple People Eater Martini and the Peach Long Island Ice Tea. Yummy. I also had some pretzel bites for dinner.

After we went home I was not tired and I was antsy to go out so I left the sleepy one at home and went out to Hookah. I met up with 2 of my chick friends Lori & Cathy. Also some of my other Hookah friends were there so we all just hung out and it was very chill. Cathy is a single girl who is a HUGE flirt and has no problem finding guys so she was having fun at that. As a girl in a long term committed relationship I often act as the wing woman. I try to do my best. Hookah was fun but I think I was more into the awesome sport plays they were showing on the tvs rather than all the other drama that was happening around us. I ended up getting home at 2 am which probably wasn't a good idea since I had to be up so early the next day.

Saturday

I don't know about you all but weekends are suppose to be my time without alarm clocks so I get kind of grumpy when I have to use an alarm clock, especially on a Saturday. But I had to be up early because I had to leave for San Diego at 8:15 am. It was well worth it since the trip was so much fun and I had a lot of fun with Chey and Mark.

First we went to one of the best breakfast restaurants I ever had. It was soooo yummy!!! I had French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon. My friend Chey told me I am more "mexican" than her because I put hot sauce on my eggs, it is soo yummy. The French Toast was the best! It was delicious and filling. After the restaurant we headed down to the museums. The first museum we went to was the History of Man. I found this one really interesting because it had a lot about the ancient civilization. The Mayans, Egyptians, other indian tribes. Upstairs it had exhibits on the evolution and genetics. I learned a lot of new things but one of the most interesting tidbits I learned is that we share 50% of our genes with a banana. Isnt that cool?

We then had to take a Frap break because Chey and I were crashing hard since we were both out so late the night before. That was one of the best Fraps I had too. SD never fails to amaze me though so I should expect it. The 2nd museum we went to was the Air & Space museum. We only went to the Alien Exhibit because it was getting late and we wanted to get out of Downtown before 5 pm to avoid traffic. The exhibit was very interesting. There were a lot of historic stories in there along with focus on all the movies that have been done about aliens. I really liked this exhibit because I like to learn about the super natural. The best part about our trip though were the random adventures we got into. Like when Chey decided to lead us down a "path" and it actually ended up being a super steep hill with leaves all over it. I was freaking out because I thought I was going to fall and also it looked like no one took this path ever because there were a ton of leaves on it. Also our little nature walks along the cactus trail and getting lost in downtown...damn those one way streets. We got back into town by 6:30 and I took a short nap because I was SUPER exhausted...

I had to be well rested because I was going to a country western night at my hookah place. I felt that my outfit was super cute and Kevin looked like a hunky cowboy too. I thought it was super funny to see Kev dressed up like a cowboy because if you knew my boyfriend you would not believe he was going to the country western night. The hookah place was A LOT of fun. It was me, Kevin, and my friend Rachel. We ended up line dancing to a couple of songs and I even learned a new (hard) dance to Cotton Eyed Joe... It was a really hard dance that took a lot of energy but I ended up picking it up. We also danced to the Cha Cha Slide, cupid shuffle, and did some salsa dancing to Suavemente. I also participated in a fashion show to compete for "Best dressed". I didn't win but I was in the top 3 which was great. All in all it was a fun night.

This was my outfit isnt it cute? I was wearing a jean miniskirt, black tank top with vest, and some gray boots. I also would sometimes steal Kevin's cowboy hat to complete the look.

He hates country music and really anything country so I thought it was so hilarious when he came home from Target wearing a cowboy hat. He does make a cute cowboy though ;)

Me and Rachel. This is post dancing hence why we look semi-sweaty.
Sunday

I made up for not sleeping in on Satuday by staying in bed until 1 pm. I had woken up at 11 am but then I started watching He's Just not that Into You which is such a great and cutsy movie. When Kev and I finally got up we got ready and left for the dog beach... It was a lot of fun like always but for some reason PeeWee was being super clingy and didnt really want to play with the other dogs. There were so many dogs there yesterday too... OMG there was this huge dog that was bigger than any dog I had ever seen. I am not even kidding, he looked like a bear. He was massive. There was also this gorgeous and sweet gray pitbull and the cutest little dog ever, a doxie/cocker spaniel mix.

After the beach we went walking around the town looking for a dog friendly place we could eat. We finally decided on Taco Surf. I had never eaten there before but OMG the food was soo yummy. Kev got some fish tacos which were delicious and I got carne asada. The flour tortillas tasted homemade and the carne asada was perfect. Even PeeWee got spoiled with this food as well.

That was my weekend, I ended up passing out early last night and didn't even get to see Sunday Night Programming on HBO...its the best. So now I missed 2 weekends in a row of it, anyone know where I can see reruns?

How was your weekend?

Play all Day, Dance all Night! Recap & Mingling

Hello Friends!!

I am participating in Monday Mingle over at Life of Meg. If you want to participate click on the link below the coffee cup and hop on over.

Mingle Monday

I had a fantastic and fun filled weekend but I feel it went by way too fast this time. Actually life in general has been flying by... Slow down!! I hope you all had great but LONG weekends.

On Friday I was suppose to stay in and do some laundry and cleaning. Well I am a horrible woman and hate cleaning haha. My boyfriend is actually the domesticated one of the relationship because he does the cleaning. I do cook so I guess that makes up for my lack of help domestically. Right? Anyway I was being a punk and I was all pouty about having to be stuck at home. So my friends came to the rescue and invited me out to Hookah. How can I not go? So I got over there at 9 and ended up staying until 1 am. Overall it was okay but I kind of wished I did stay in...probably would have been more beneficial in the end,but that is neither here nor there.

This is a picture of the HUGE park we were at. You could even rent horses to ride, ride a train, go to a petting zoo. It was huge!
Saturday was CRAZY BUSY. We were on the go from the moment we put our feet on the floor after waking up. We had a BBQ to go to with a bunch of other couples. We were able to bring PeeWee and he had so much fun. The food at the BBQ was so yummy: the best chicken I have had, hummus and pita chips, hamburgers, and various salads. The dogs had a lot of fun playing and it was great watching them play. My poor dog though kept getting humped by this other dog (we had lots of gay action going on since all the dogs were boys). We also played touch football where I once again realized how 1) competitive and 2) out of shape I am....Needless to say we all had a wonderful time but were so exhausted by the end of it...We were there from 12-4:30

After the BBQ Kev had to go into work and I didnt feel like driving home and driving back to pick him up. Instead me and PeeWee took a nap in his office and also went on a walk and played in the park across the street. My dog had so much exercise and fun but boy was he wiped out by the end of the day saturday. We left my boyfriend's office at 6:15 pm and had to book it home because we had to be at a party by 8:30 pm. So many birthdays lately (people apparently like to get it on in the Spring). The party I was going to was Faux French. I wore this poofy black and white dress with fancy fishnets and a black wide brimmed hat with red flowers on it. I think I loooked very french. Kevin wore slacks, a black shirt with a red tie, and a pin striped vest. Sounds like we were going to a formal.

The party was a lot of fun. They had my drink of choice, as of now, which is Framboise. If you have never tried it you should, it is pretty tasty. They also had a ton of french treats: eclairs, other pastrys, and a wide assortment of cheesecake. Lets just say the fatty inside me was very pleased. I did a lot of dancing though. I semi-learned how to dance to French music haha. Towards the end we put on "clubbing" aka pop music. I really had a lot of fun. We ended up getting home around 3 am.

Since Saturday was so ridiculously busy Sunday was my lounge around the house ALL day in PJs. I did venture out to get some Cold Stone...What can I say, my lady time demands chocolate at all times and I can't say no to the monster. I stayed in and cuddled up with the cats while watching Valentines Day and reading Facebook Fails. What a day. You should all be proud, as Kevin was, because I fully did 2 loads of laundry. I even folded and put them away...this never happens.

How was your weekend?
