It was a LONG Weekend and I want more please!!!

I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend and that you are all well rested to go back to the daily grind...

I am sad and disappointed to see the weekend go. I keep telling Kevin that I wish I could just take 6 months off. I have been working nonstop since I was in highschool. Why can't I just get a break? What would I do if I had 6 months off? I would hope that I would be more productive around the house, I would bake and cook more often, read a lot. and pick up a new hobby. Oh well, one can dream... Since I never will have that much time off (well until I get pregnant which will not be for a LONG time).

I do have another reason why my boyfriend rocks.  He knew how much I loved the jewlery at The Shabby Apple so he went and bought me my favorite necklace. It came in the mail this weekend and I am super excited to have it. He got me the From Paris with Love which I have been gushing over for the past 1.5 weeks.

Isn't it soooo pretty?? Thanks Leigh and Kevin!! You both rock

I'm just going to give you a brief recap of my weekend because I am actually writing this last night (Monday) and I want to curl up with a good book and go to bed

Friday: I went to Chey's house. There were 4 of us there and we just played some games. We played Apples to Apples and Imagineiff... They were both a lot of fun. That was the first time I had played Imginiff and I found it very interesting. Great party game. I left for home around 2 am.

Saturday: We had a pretty lazy day lounging around the house. Then we had a date night. We went out to Kobe's Steak House for some tepan grill. It was yummy. I had filet mignoin... Dessert was the best though. Our waiter had to leave early so he closed us out early but gave us free dessert which was pretty kickass if I do say so myself.  This was a special treat because kev and I hardly ever get dessert. We then went to hookah. It was a ton of fun.
Chocolate Tartufo. Its too good to be true. It has a Zabione Cream center surronded by chocolate gellato and covered in cocoa powder and hazelnuts. It was divine!

Just another picture to drool over
Drinking my Peach Martini. (Excuse the poor quality I forgot my camera so this was off of my phone)
Sunday: My relaxing day!! It was pretty kickass... I got my hair did. I needed it so bad too. You guys have noooo idea. My hair was super thick (it grows out, not down) and I couldn't do anything with it. I was wearing it in an ugly ponytail for the last couple of days before it got cut because there was literally nothing I could do with it. I promised you pictures and pictures you shall get!!

This is the back. Kind of a crappy picture but you get it. Its an a-line bob so the back is fairly short. I think the picture doesnt do it justice though.
Please ignore the frizzyness at top. This si the best picture I have gotten thus far. Ill try to get a better one but I promised y'all pictures

After my haircut I went to the mall to pick up some new makeup and I also bought a pair of Jessica Simpson heels from Nordstroms. They are AWESOME and I can wear them for work and going out. This was my very first purchase fom Nordstroms so I kind of feel like Im going places in this world. Does that sound stupid?

Monday:  We went to Buffalo Wild Wings to meet up with one of our couple friends Claire & Roger. I have been wanting to go here for a long time since I have been told the wings were really good there.... Well, they were decent and I liked all the different sauces they had, but they weren't the best wings I've eaten. Those are still reserved to Stadium Tavern. It was fun and tasty nonetheless. We then went back to their house for a while afterwards..just chatted, fought off their little dog from humping us (she was a girl too...horny little girl), and shared stores. After that we went over to Chris' parents new home (which was actually their parents home which they remodeled) and it looked fantastic. I am seriously in love with every aspect of it, especially their outside bar and master bathroom shower.

Well now its back to work but thank goodness for the shorter week. Maybe next weekend we will actually accomplish things like house hunting and painting our extra bedroom. I hope you all had a fantastic long weekend.

  7. Ohhh that Shabby Apple... I love every single thing she makes! And she keeps posting more and more stuff! Somebody stop her! I want it all!

I love the hair! I have the thick hair that grows stupidly and outward, too - and it's HOT. I like clean bobs, they seem to work best for me, too - or long layers. I can never just let my hair grow, though - I always need a regular trim of some sort to keep it in check. CUTE heels - I love Jessica Simpsons!

Glad you have a great weekend! NFL starts tomorrow night! yayyy
